The products are mixed with acrylic paint to create a smooth, fluid consistency for pouring and other fluid painting techniques. They help the paint flow evenly and dry without cracking or unevenness, while maintaining the strength and durability of the paint.
The three varieties produce different results. Gloss Pouring Medium creates a high-gloss surface, Matte Pouring Medium provides a matt, non-reflective finish, and Iridescent Pouring Medium adds a pearlescent shimmer that is particularly noticeable on dark colours. They can be mixed with Liquitex Professional acrylic paints and used on canvas, wood, panels and other paintable surfaces.
