The Basics paints have a medium-bodied consistency that is smooth and easy to work with, for both larger areas of colour and smaller details. Professional Fabric Medium improves the adhesion and flexibility of the acrylic paint on textiles, provides a softer feel and reduces the risk of cracking. This makes the paint better suited to different types of fabric without making the material unnecessarily stiff.

The acrylic paints can also be used on canvas, paper, wood, card and other paintable surfaces. They are water-based and can be mixed together to create custom shades or combined with different mediums to adjust their properties according to the technique and desired result.
