Leuchtturm1917 has revived the Drehgriffel from the 1920s. The name "Drehgriffel" is a German compound word that can be translated directly as "twist pen". Its distinctive design makes the pen both unique and instantly recognisable. Simply twist the brass knob at the rear of the pen to extend or retract the tip. The twist mechanism is spring-loaded.

The Drehgriffel is made from precision-milled aluminium and brass. The pen measures 13 cm in length.
