Blackwing Vol. 292 is a limited edition that pays tribute to the iconic artist Keith Haring – one of the most influential voices in 1980s New York. The pencil draws inspiration from Haring's legendary Pop Shop at 292 Lafayette Street, where art met the street's energy and became accessible to all.
Keith Haring's artistic journey took off in New York's subways, where he sketched quick white chalk drawings directly onto black, unused advertising panels, transforming the city's underground into a spontaneous public gallery. Throughout his career, he balanced museum and gallery exhibitions with public projects: murals, sculptures, and paintings supporting hospitals, children's organisations, and community initiatives.
