MEIJI NO IRO is a series of truly beautiful Japanese inks inspired by popular colours of the Meiji era in Japan. Use with a fountain pen, dip pen, a brush or the refillable Karappo pens from the same brand.

The inks are water-based and come in beautifully packaged bottles containing 20ml of ink. On the packaging there is a small description of what each colour was inspired by during the era. The series contains a total of 6 different colours of ink.

ZIG Kuretake was founded in 1902 in Japan and began as a manufacturer of sumi ink, a traditional Japanese ink with high opacity. They have since grown into a brand with quality tools for art, illustration, graphic design, paper craft, manga and calligraphy.
