Kuretake Shiranami is a Japanese calligraphy paper with a slightly heavier weight. The paper is specially suited to Japanese calligraphy and is designed to limit the spread of ink, providing good control over lines and brush strokes.

The heavier paper allows for smooth, even brush movement and is suitable for use with calligraphy brushes and ink. It works well for both practice and more refined calligraphy work. The sheets are in the traditional Japanese Hanshi format, which is used for calligraphy, and measure 24.2 × 33.4 cm.

The pack contains 50 sheets and comes in a resealable bag, making it easy to store and protect the paper between uses. Made in Japan.
