The highly pigmented, wax-based pencils can be used dry like traditional coloured pencils for shading, tonal transitions and layers of colour. By adding water with a brush, the colour dissolves and can be worked to create smooth transitions, washes and watercolour effects.
The pencils have durable leads designed to resist breakage and can be sharpened to a fine point for detailed work and precise lines. The extensive colour selection includes both bright and muted shades, as well as a broad spectrum of greens, blues, reds, earthy and neutral tones.
