Sennelier Oil Sticks are oil paint in a practical stick format, ideal for artists who want to work with oil paint in a more direct way. The set contains 6 oil sticks of 12 ml each, with pure pigments and a smooth consistency that allows you to work with lines, details and larger areas of colour.

They are made from artist-quality oil paint, with part of the oil replaced by a neutral mineral, giving the paint its solid form. The oil sticks contain high-quality, pure pigments ground in vegetable oils selected for their low tendency to yellow over time. They share many of the properties of traditional oil paint and can be used with a variety of techniques.

The surface film dries more quickly than traditional oil paint and is normally dry after approximately one day. When using the sticks for the first time, the thin, dry surface layer needs to be peeled away to expose the paint. A new thin layer forms after use and protects the paint between painting sessions.

The set contains the following colours: Pale Ochre (253), Light Quinacridone Magenta (672), Dioxazine Light (971), Celadon (863), Burnt Umber (202) and Rose Ochre Light (250).
