Give your artwork a shimmering metallic finish with Schmincke Aqua Bronze. This water-soluble metallic powder has been developed to create lustrous effects in watercolour and gouache painting, but can also be used to add an elegant metallic finish to your own colour mixtures. Simply mix the powder with water shortly before use to create an intense metallic paint with exceptional brilliance.

By adjusting the amount of water, you can influence both coverage and shine. A higher concentration of powder produces a more opaque and metallic result, whilst a thinner mixture creates subtle shimmering effects and transparent details. Aqua Bronze can be used on its own or mixed with watercolours and gouache colours to create unique metallic shades.

The product is based on genuine metallic pigments, providing strong lustre and good covering power. Suitable for paper, card, illustration board and canvas with an absorbent surface. Once dry, the colour is smudge-resistant but not waterproof.

Perfect for details, highlights, calligraphy, illustrations, card making and other creative projects where you want to add a metallic effect with a professional finish.
