The Catalyst series from Princeton Brushes is an innovative choice for artists seeking high-quality brushes. These brushes combine thickness with precision, and each fibre is split at the tip to mimic the finest natural bristles. Similar to a Flat Shader, but with a rounded instead of straight tip, making it great for creating soft edges. It adds softness and texture to the brush stroke, and offers the ability to draw and cut with the bristles when the brush is held on its side.

The unique Polytip technology gives each fibre two to three tips, allowing the brush to hold more colour while providing an even and controlled application. Catalyst brushes have high durability, optimal stiffness and excellent colour holding capacity, making them a better choice than standard hog bristle brushes. They are designed to work with both thin and thick acrylic paints as well as oil paints, and can also handle thick gel mediums.
