This edition features pen bodies decorated with elegant and traditional Japanese designs - all created using the modern Maki-e technique. Modern Maki-e is a Japanese lacquer decoration technique made by silkscreen printing.
"Tsubaki” is inspired by the camellia – a beloved flower that adorned both gardens and Japanese art during the Edo period. The camellia symbolizes timeless beauty and Japanese tradition. Preppy wa Edo-Monogatari – the obvious choice for those who appreciate quality, tradition and beautiful design.
Preppy is a simple but extremely affordable fountain pen from Japanese Platinum.
The fountain pen is refillable and can be used with both cartridge and converter. It is also really comfortable to write with and has a good ink flow.
