The masters in Kanazawa produce some of the world's finest gold leaf in a wide range of shimmering colors. Following an ancient technique - Momo Chirashi - Platinum takes this gold leaf and tears and folds it into smaller forms. These are then carefully applied to the pen's shaft, resulting in a delicately textured surface that captures and reflects light with incredible depth.

The design on each pen shaft is unique due to the process of hand-applying the patterns; each Fujin (wind god) and Raijin (thunder god) is subtly different. Along with the entirely unique application of the gold leaf, this means no two pens are alike.

Beneath the magnificent design lies the same reservoir pen as the other #3776 Century pens. The Platinum #3776 Century series features the airtight 'Slip and Seal' cap. The innovative system uses an internal plastic seal with a strong spring to prevent ink from drying out between uses.

This exclusive reservoir pen comes in a presentation box with a matching blue ink cartridge.
