The Leuchtturm1917 Drehgriffel is a ballpoint pen we like! The inspiration for this pen comes from the 1920s and it has won several fine design awards.

The name “Drehgriffel” is a German compound word that can be directly translated as twist pen. Its characteristic design really makes the pen stand out. Simply twist the white knob at the back of the pen to extend the tip. The twist mechanism is spring-loaded.

The Drehgriffel is made of precision-milled aluminium and brass. The pen’s octagonal barrel feels comfortable in the hand and provides a very pleasant writing experience.

Supplied with blue ink refill, document-proof (ISO 15727-2). The total length of the pen is 13 cm.

Refillable with cartridges/refills in international standard size (e.g. Parker).
