Hahnemühle Sugar Cane is a high-quality watercolour paper made from 70% fast-growing sugar cane fibres and 30% cotton. This combination creates a durable and absorbent paper with a naturally warm white colour. The cold-pressed, finely textured surface has a soft feel and provides a good grip for the paint.

The paper is suitable for watercolour, gouache and other wet techniques. The strong natural fibres allow it to absorb large amounts of water and paint without the fibres lifting or the paper buckling excessively. It works well for colour transitions, layering and fine details.

Sugar Cane is part of Hahnemühle's Natural Line and is acid-free, age-resistant and vegan.
