Fisher Space Pen

Fisher Space Pen is the classic space pen, designed to write where ordinary ballpoint pens cannot. The story begins with Paul C. Fisher, who patented a pressurised ink cartridge in 1965. The technology made it possible for the pen to write independently of gravity and laid the foundation for the Fisher Space Pen.

The secret lies in the pressurised cartridge, which pushes the ink towards the tip. This allows the Fisher Space Pen to write at any angle, even upside down, and to work in extreme cold and heat as well as on wet and greasy surfaces. The cartridge also has a long lifespan and can easily be replaced when the ink runs out.

One of the most iconic models is the Fisher Space Pen AG7, also known as the Astronaut Pen. It was developed for NASA and began being used during the Apollo programme in 1968. The AG7 is still produced today and has become a true classic among space pens.

Another favourite is the Fisher Space Pen Bullet. The compact model is small when closed but becomes a comfortable full-size pen when the cap is posted on the back. Its convenient size makes the Bullet a popular pen to carry in a pocket or bag.
