The high-quality pencils are made entirely of pure graphite and are only coated with a thin layer of varnish. Six graduated hardness levels, from soft (9B) to hard (HB), enable everything from fine lines to soft shading and intense contrasts. A water-soluble graphite pencil (4B) also opens up creative techniques and exciting watercolour effects.
