Founded in Belgium in 1865 by Jacques Blockx I, BLOCKX has become globally recognised among artists for its oil colours of the highest quality. The BLOCKX ranges are characterised primarily by single-pigment colours combined with traditional binders. Whether acrylic, oil, watercolour or pastel, the colours are highly concentrated with an exceptionally high pigment content, making them particularly lightfast, vibrant and intense. Every product is made in Belgium using traditional methods, resulting in an impressive colour palette with outstanding clarity and quality. Production is carefully monitored, with no part of the process left to chance.
