The box contains Arches Aquarelle, one of the world's most highly regarded watercolour papers. Made from 100% cotton and gelatin-sized throughout with natural gelatin, it offers excellent colour control, exceptional strength and allows the brilliance and transparency of watercolours to shine through.

The paper is produced on a traditional cylinder mould machine at the Arches paper mill in France. This method ensures an even fibre distribution and helps the paper retain its shape even when working with large amounts of water. The durable surface withstands corrections and reworking without the fibres lifting.

The acid-free and archival-quality paper is ideal for watercolour and other wet techniques such as gouache, ink and acrylic.
