With over 1000 employees, Herma is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of self-adhesive solutions. Founded in 1906 by the German Heinrich Hermann, the company sold embossed labels and product labelling to companies, which were then used for industrially produced goods. Herma was now a label factory and printing house in one, and its customers were growing.
When the First World War broke out, the company was put to the test. Heinrich Hermann was called up for service in 1915 and his wife Christine took over the business. Items for the army postal service were added to the product range. Despite many difficulties, it was still possible to keep the company going.
Today, Herma is almost synonymous with marking and labelling, but also more fun products like stickers and colourful document storage. Herma knows its stuff, and never compromises on quality.
