The pen has a sharper tip (0.35 mm) than the previous model POM which is slightly rounder (0.7 mm). The tip is replaceable and has a very good pressure sensitivity. Two extra nibs are included.
The pen is compatible with all types of devices that use EMR technology. Lamy Digital Writing is equipped with Wacom's patented EMR technology and does not require charging.

A handy feature is the customisable shortcut button on the pen - it gives direct access to a configurable menu on the device you are using the pen with.
